Welcome!Are you evil or good? A Pure One who lives in a the canyons in the Desert of Kuneer, or a Guardian who lives in the Great Ga'Hoole Tree on the island of Hoole in the middle of the sea of Hoolemere?
Story:The begining:You are a young owl, who has been lost in the forest of Tyto for at least 3 moon cycles. You were taken from your parents to St. Aegolies Academy for Orphaned Owls and you had just escaped from there. Right now you are flying around the forest, looking for the home you had once knew so well, but you have become lost on your journey and don't know where to go. Suddenly an owl flies up to you. She is a barn owl, a tyto alba. She looks at you for a moment, before introducing herself. "I am Midnight, the leader of the Pure Ones," she says. You look at her, thinking that she is the most wonderful owl you had ever seen. The next thing she says surprises you. "Would you like to join us?" she asks.
Which will you choose? The life of a Pure One? Or the life of a Guardian of Ga'Hoole.
The life of a Guardian:You look up at Midnight. "I'm sorry," you say. Midnight looks at you for a moment, you could see the confusion in her eyes. Why didn't this owl want to join us, she seemed to think. Then she nodded and looked at you. "Very well," she says and flies off. You watch as she disappears off into the night sky. You sigh and look down at your talons. Then you look up and fly off into the night. As you soar above the trees you wonder if you would ever find the home you and your family had once lived in. As you fly on, you see a tall tree, one of the tallest ones in the forest. Why does this tree look familier? you wonder. Then you remember the memory of the time when you lived with your family, in that very same tree. Mum, Da! you think happily and glide down towards the hollow. "Mum, Da?" you call as you approach the hollow. You land on a branch outside and look into the home you had once knew. You gasp at the sight you saw. There was no one in the hollow. No one had lived there for a long time. You sigh sadly. My family! My home! you thought, trying your best not to cry. Suddenly an owl lands next to you. You look up, expecting to see Midnight's face, but the owl was not Midnight at all. It was a spotted owl. Who is this owl? and what would a spotted owl be doing in the forest of tyto? you wonder. Before you can speak the owl says, "What's wrong dear?" You look up at her eyes. Then you look down at your talons. "I'm...." you say, "lost." The owl nods as you tell her the story of what had happened to your family. You leave out the part about being taken from your parents, not wanting the owl to know what had happened to you. "What happened?" she asked softly.
"I had gotten lost after I went out to hunt when my parents were not home," you say, not wanting the owl to know the truth. She nods. Then you look up at her. "Who are you?" you ask. She looks at you. "I am, Luna ,the queen of the Great Ga'Hoole tree." You gasp. "But, I thought that the Great Tree was just a legend," you say. She laughs softly and shook her head. "No, it is real. But, for some we are just a legend." She looks at you. "If you want to join us, we would welcome you, but if you do not want to join us, we understand." You look at her. "I will join you," you say. She looks at you happily. "Then follow me," she says as she flies off into the night.
The life of a Pure One:You look up at Midnight. "I will join you," you say. She smiles at you. "I am glad that you decided to join us. We are special. Only barn owls can join the Pure Ones." She looks at you. "Follow me," she says and flies off. You follow her out of the forest and into the desert of Kuneer. Just when you think that you can't fly much farther, she glides down towards the ground and into the canyons. She lands on the ground. The next thing you know is that you are standing in the middle of the Pure One's camp. "Welcome to the Pure Ones," Midnight says. "This is our home."
Rules:1. Make sure to follow all of Memphiles's rules.
2. Please try to use proper spelling and grammer.
3. Please only join if you have read at least one of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole books or have seen the move.
4. Please do not kill someone's character without asking them first.
5. When you talk out of character please use parenthesis, () [] (()) {} (etc), or type OOC
6. If you have a character that is important to the role play (like a king or queen) please try to be as active as you can. If you are not active for 2 weeks then someone else will be allowed to take your character's place. If you know you are not going to be able to log on please let me know so your character will still be here when you come back.
7. If you change your username please let me know so I can keep this roleplay updated.
8. Only Barn Owls can join the Pure Ones. (just like in the books)
9. Please do not use names from the books or the movie.
